AEA Spring Election 2024 and Promotion

Election Day Promotion

If you have been nominated for a position on the March 19th ballot you should have received an email from me today confirming the positions you were nominated. If you see a position that you are not nominated for, and believe you should be, please resubmit the nomination and accept it. If there are any mistakes, positions you did not plan to accept or etc. please email me.
**Note – You can only be nominated for one position on one nomination form. Example – Scooby Do can only be nominated for Region Council. If you wish to nominate Scooby Doo for President, that must occur on a separate form.

Additionally if you are already serving a term that is unexpired for Professional Negotiations, you cannot be nominated for the current election. You may only be nominated if your term expires in 2023 – 2024.
We will attempt to post the sample ballot as soon as possible for candidates and members.
It is time for the 2024 local spring election for the Alton Education Association. Before the end of the school year we will hold two elections; both be via electronic voting. The date for building representative elections will be later and in a separate announcement.
